Our team has created a special C02 calculator. With this calculator you can calculate the carbon compensation, based on our NFTrees.
Our NFTrees and $CCO2 tokens make carbon compensation easy and transparent. Coorest NFTrees are linked to real trees that absorb CO2. The captured CO2 is converted to $CCO2 tokens and transferred to NFTree holders. The $CCO2 tokens can be bought, sold and “burned” on the Coorest DApp.
Coorest’s NFTrees are non-fungible tokens linked to real-world trees. The NFTrees generate carbon tokens that are equal to the amount of carbon their real-life counterparts remove from the atmosphere. The holders of NFTrees will start collecting $CCO2 tokens the moment the tree is planted.
The carbon tokens or $CCO2 tokens are minted when CO2 is absorbed from the atmosphere. NFTrees generate these tokens at a pre-determined rate each year. The amount of carbon tokens generated corresponds to the amount of carbon dioxide captured by real trees.
